Vascovid at SPIE Photonics West

ICREA Professor at ICFO and Vascovid coordinator Turgut Durduran will present Hemocovid and Vascovid projects at the Neurotechnologies Plenary session of SPIE’s Photonics West congress. The talk “Seeking new biomarkers with diffuse correlation spectroscopy and next-generation devices for transcranial assessment of cerebral hemodynamics” will describe the latest advances in testing diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS) in neuro-monitoring applications, and will present the Vascovid project.

Moreover, BioPixS researchers Sanathana Konugolu Venkata Sekar will present their work on “A standardized approach to validate solid phantom recipes for 3D anthropomorphic phantoms in biophotonics”, where he will talk about developing phantoms for biophotonics applications.
